the Model X's manufacturing as a result of the regrettable delay in the facelifted model's release to customers—
October 2021. Tesla investor Sawyer Merritt sparked Musk's remarks on Twitter, claiming that the updated
Model X rollout was a total disaster, made worse by a lack of communication with customers who had been
waiting for their cars for a year or longer.
